    Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

  • Course fee range: The MBBS course fee ranges from as low as 1,355 to as high as 25,75,000.

  • Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)

  • Average course fee: The average BDS course fee ranges between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 12,00,000.
  • Career opportunities: Candidates can pursue a career as a Dentist, Dental Technician, Prosthodontist..
  • Higher education: Candidates can pursue a Master's in Dental Surgery in a choice of specialisation.
  • Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

  • Average fee: The annual fee for the BAMS course on average ranges between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 3,20,00.
  • Career scope: Pharmacist, Dietician, Gynaecologist, Teacher, Panchkarma Practitioner
  • Higher education options: Candidates can pursue an M.S. (Master of Surgery) (Ayurveda) and an M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) (Ayurveda) in specialisation.
  • Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS)

  • BHMS fees: The range of BHMS course fees is between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 300,000.
  • Career scope: Homeopathic Doctor, Public Health Specialist, Pharmacist, Teacher or Lecturer.
  • Higher studies: Candidates can pursue an MD / MS / PG Diploma in Homeopathy.
  • Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)

  • Fees of BUMS course: The range of BUMS fees is from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 6,50,000.
  • Career options: Scientist, Consultant, Pharmacist, Therapist, Drug Inspector, Medical Assistant,Professor
  • Higher studies: Candidates can study MD / MS / PG Diploma courses in Unani medicine.
  • Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery (BSMS)

    Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT)

  • Course fee: The fee ranges between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 7,10,000.
  • Scope: Physiotherapist at health clinics, MNCs, industries, and private practice.
  • Higher studies options: After BPT, students can pursue a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) which is a two-year-long course.
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & AH)

  • Average course fee: The fee for BVSc & AH courses ranges between Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 1,00,000.
  • Career opportunities: Veterinary surgeon, Pharmacologist, Food Inspection Specialist, and Veterinarian Assistant.
  • Higher education: Students can pursue a Masters in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) in a specialisation of their choice. Specialisations include Veterinary Bacteriology, Epidemiology, Veterinary Immunology, and Livestock Economics to name a few.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc. nursing)

  • Course fee: The fee ranges between Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 3,50,000.
  • Scope: Staff Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Educator, Medical Coder, Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room, Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Higher studies options: Candidates who want to go for further studies can join for MSc Nursing, MSc Neuroscience, MSc Medical Microbiology, MSc Biotechnology, and MSc Biochemistry. Moreover, B.Sc Nursing graduates can also join a postgraduate program in Public Health management besides an MSc in renal sciences and dialysis technology.
